How to Submit a Grant Application

  1. Complete the Colorado Common Grant Application, found at

  2. Submit your application and any supplementary materials via email to Jodye Whitesell,, or mail to 1610 Little Raven Street, Suite 115, Denver, CO 80202. Application deadlines are September 1st and March 1st, annually.

  3. You will receive confirmation once your completed application has been received.

Grant Application Review Process

The Board of Directors meets in the fall to review grant requests for the following year. Grant applications should be submitted by September 1st; however, grants approved at the fall board meeting are not available for distribution until after January of the grant year. In some cases, the board may decide to defer decisions regarding certain grants to the spring, when additional funds may be available for distribution.
